Requirements
In order to protect our green heritage, prioritize health and safety and reassure customers and employees about the practices adopted, the following requirements have been put in place for the Enviro-Conscious certification:

Transport and store materials safely.

Calculate the surface area of each new customer’s lawn as precisely as possible.
4.
Ensure that all packaging (plastic, glass, cardboard, paper or other) is properly recycled.
5.
Implement a plan to reduce paper use by 50%.
6.
Ensure that pesticides are used sensibly and in specific areas as needed to combat pests and weeds.
7.
Establish mechanisms to minimize waste production and ensure any surplus is disposed of safely.
8.
Educate our customers on concrete ways to use water efficiently.
9.
Provide ongoing training to Enviro-Conscious companies and their employees to ensure safe use of products and proper work techniques.
10.
Eliminate use of phosphorus.
11.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides precisely and consistently.
12.
Record the quantities of fertilizer and pesticides used for each customer in a daily report.
13.
Invest in or become a member of organizations dedicated to research on optimizing products and decorative ways to obtain a healthy lawn.
